Announcing Our Approved Projects for 2026 By God's grace, we're delighted to share the ministries that ASI UK has approved for funding in the 2026 project cycle. Each year, members and supporters partner together to back Spirit-led initiatives that share the gospel, serve communities, and advance the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church across the UK, Ireland, and beyond. This year we've approved five projects spanning health evangelism, media ministry, sports outreach, literature, and children's discipleship — totalling £31,300 in approved funding. Fundraising is now underway, and your gift helps us fully fund these ministries. The approved projects will be presented at our Annual Convention on 20th June 2026. Here's a look at what God has called us to support this year. 1. Balm of Gilead: Health, Mental Wellness & Evangelism Expansion Balm of Gilead / Saol na Croí Fellowship — Ireland — £15,000 The next phase of a growing Irish health ministry, built on three complementary pillars: A NEWSTART health retreat, planned for 2027 in consultation with the Adventist-run Black Hills Health and Education Center — designed to become self-sustaining and ultimately fund the work of the gospel. The Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Programme (NDARP) — a free, volunteer-led, community-based programme responding to the reality that nearly half the community struggles with some form of mental health challenge, while pointing participants to Jesus as the true healer. Barbara O'Neill seminars in London and Dublin in October 2026, distributing thousands of copies of Ministry of Healing and other Spirit of Prophecy books and producing strong follow-ups for Bible studies. Together these advance a long-term vision of a self-sustaining centre of health excellence, guided by the health principles of the Spirit of Prophecy. 2. Hope FM Supports OneVoice27 Hope FM — Birmingham, England — £9,600 Hope FM is positioning itself as the radio voice of the OneVoice27 evangelistic initiative across the North England Conference (NEC). A volunteer-led Christian radio station broadcasting via internet and DAB since 2022, Hope FM will use this funding to: Expand onto two new DAB multiplexes in two major cities Repurpose local church outreach into accessible radio programming Deliver a replicable, week-long Bible lecture series aligned with OneVoice27 themes Expand roadshows and live broadcasts from churches and evangelistic events Strengthen volunteer presenter development and listener engagement With 87% of UK adults tuning into radio weekly and very few Christian stations nationally, Hope FM is a unique platform connecting churches with their communities. Visit the Hope FM website → 3. Ace Sports Club Ace Sports Club — Manchester, England — £2,500 For five years, this Manchester badminton outreach has welcomed participants from diverse backgrounds — Adventists, Muslims, Atheists, and Hindus alike — using sport as a natural, welcoming bridge to share God's word. With this funding, the club will expand its one-day community events to build relationships and broaden participation. A dedicated core team, trained through the Discipleship Course and Church Planting Programme, provides ongoing follow-up through small-group meetings — all with the aim of winning souls for Christ through genuine connection and fellowship. 4. Transforming "Ye Shall Know Them by Their Fruits" into a Public-Facing Book United Kingdom — £2,200 This project will rework an academic book into an accessible, narrative-driven title that bridges curiosity about society, morality, and truth to the message of Revelation 14 and the Three Angels' Messages. Funding will support professional editorial development, high-quality cover design, and a targeted marketing campaign. First-year goals include: Distributing 1,000–2,000 copies Reaching 10,000+ readers online Delivering 5–8 presentations in churches and public talks Inviting around 20 individuals into Bible study conversations It's the foundation of a broader strategy of intellectual and public evangelism aimed at secular and professional audiences. 5. Healthy Heroes Project Kings Norton, Birmingham — £2,000 Based at the Hawkesley Community Centre in one of south Kings Norton's most deprived estates, this children's health and discipleship programme teaches 4–10-year-olds the eight health principles through "Healthy Biblical Heroes," daily nutritious meals, and family fun days. Following Christ's method of meeting needs first, the two-week programme welcomes up to 60 children and continues through a weekly Faith Builders (LEGO) club and the My Place with Jesus study series. The long-term aim is to become a source of light for the community at least three days each week. How You Can Help Every one of these projects depends on the generosity of God's people. Fundraising for the 2026 cycle is now open, and your gift — of any size — helps us bring these ministries to full funding. We look forward to celebrating these ministries together at our Annual Convention on 20th June 2026. Thank you for partnering with us to share the everlasting gospel. "Freely ye have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8

The 2025 ASI UK Convention in Daventry was a spirit-led and impactful event that brought together over 150 people from across Great Britain and Ireland. Johnny Wong shared two powerful sermons — one during the morning worship service and again in the closing evening session — drawing from his experience in marketplace ministry to challenge attendees to live out their faith boldly in their professional lives. The day began with an opening session featuring greetings from conference representatives, a message from ASI UK President Daniel Klop, and the first round of ASI in Action testimonials — real stories from members integrating faith and work in practical ways. These personal accounts set the tone for a day centred on purpose and mission. During the afternoon, Christian Salcianu led a leadership seminar focused on practical ministry leadership skills and building effective organisations, equipping attendees with tools they could take back to their own ministries and workplaces. The interactive session also featured a presentation from ADRA and a stewardship talk from Cathy Boldeau. One of the highlights was the ministry speed networking session during the afternoon break, where attendees made new connections and explored collaboration opportunities. Ministry booths and displays during the extended lunch break gave members a chance to share their work and discover what others were doing across the UK. The convention closed with special music, a final message from Johnny Wong, and a heartfelt prayer over ASI UK members and their ministries — sending everyone home renewed and ready to serve.

Dear Members and Supporters, The past 12 months have rapidly flown by. In this startup phase ASIUK is creating awareness for evangelism in the marketplace. This was primarily done by hosing a number of roadshows across England. At these events ASI members shared how they evangelise in their workplace. It was interesting to hear how some of us have provided spiritual support. One participant offers small editions of Ellen White books in the foyer of his business. Others provide spiritual counselling when they are asked. The issue of not working on the Sabbath was also discussed. What was noticeable is that everyone is enthusiastic about sharing the gospel. The first ASIUK convention is being held this weekend. I look forward to meeting you at our first convention on Sabbath, 21st June, at the Mercure Hotel in Daventry. Attendees will be inspired by guest speakers Johnny Wong and Christian Salcianu. With the purchase of a ticket not only will you gain entry, you will also receive a meal and refreshments. Visit www.asiuk.org/convention now to reserve your ticket. Tickets are available until 21:00 on Friday, 20th June. Johnny Wong is a church planter and founder of Gateway Adventist Centre. He has conducted training in 20 countries worldwide, covering topics such as Care Group, Discipleship, Leadership and Church Planting. He is a lay person whose training is in Information Technology and has worked in senior management positions in Oracle, Ansett Group and Hewlett Packard. Christian Salcianu is the Principal for the Adventist Discovery Centre (ADC). Salcianu was born in Romania and developed an interest in the Bible at the age of 16. As he discovered the Sabbath truth, he decided at the age of 20 to be baptised into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. After military academy he enrolled in the Theological Seminary of the University of Bucharest. This Sunday the 22nd, the Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) will be held. Normally this event is held every two years however it was decided at the last OGM to hold this after the first year. All paid up Ordinary Members are invited to participate in this meeting. Reports will be shared and officers elected. It would be an understatement if I said that starting up ASIUK is challenging. As a result, some members of the executive members will sadly be leaving the committee because of time constraints. Fortunately for us they will still be supporting the association however in a different capacity. ASIUK looks forward to working with them in the near future. This provides an opportunity for enthusiastic members to participate in the running of ASIUK. If you are interested come to the OGM on Sunday, 22 June 2025 for a 10:00am start at the Northampton Central SDA Church, 74 Highlands Ave, Northampton, NN3 6BQ. Personally, I would like to thank the Executive Committee for all their time and dedication over the past year. Also, I would like to thank all the Members and Supporters for all the trust you have given us. Finally, much praise to God for all the blessings he has bestowed on ASIUK. May God continue to bless each and every one of you. Sincerely, Daniel Klop - ASI-UK President
